Bal Sansar Sanstha (BSS) was founded in 1992 in Jaipur, Rajasthan by Dr. Priyamvada Singh — driven by a deep commitment to uplifting children, women, and youth.

Dr. Priyamvada Singh

Founder Chairperson

Dr. Singh founded Bal Sansar Sanstha in 1992 and has led it since. Over 34 years, she has built programmes in education, health, HIV prevention, and women's empowerment — as an implementing partner for UNDP and NACO programmes, and with UNICEF support, at various stages.

From registration in 1992 to a school, a health centre, and 50,000+ people reached.

Founded

Bal Sansar Sanstha established in Jaipur, Rajasthan by Dr. Priyamvada Singh.

2006

CBO Networking

CBO Networking & Capacity Building programme begins, strengthening grassroots organisations.

2008

Sambal & Sneh Sansar

Launched Sambal CCC (10-bed HIV-AIDS care for 2,253 People Living with HIV (PLHIV)) and Sneh Sansar — a loving home for 20 children orphaned by AIDS.

2009

Babli Boli

National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO)–UNDP radio project: 52 episodes broadcast, 100 Rural Women Listeners Clubs formed, reaching 17,738 women with HIV-AIDS awareness.

2012

Taiyari Pilot

Taiyari adolescent health programme launches with UNICEF across 3 districts of Rajasthan.

2013

BSPS & SEDI

Bal Sansar Public School and Skill & Entrepreneurship Development Institute (SEDI) launch in Ajmer district.

2014

National Recognition

BSS becomes National Finalists for the Dasra Girl Power Award in the Life Skills Category.

2018

Leadership Award

Dr. Priyamvada Singh receives the Rajasthan NGO Leadership Award at World CSR Day & Sustainability Congress.

2021

Kishor Samvaad

Adolescent Reproductive and Sexual Health (ARSH) awareness programme with Trent Pvt. Ltd. reaches 2,000 adolescents in 10 Jaipur schools.

2023

HIV TI Project

Launched as the RSACS implementing partner for a Targeted Intervention covering 700 Injecting Drug Users (IDUs) in Ajmer.

2025

Aarogyam Kendra

Construction begins on community health centre in Ajmer, funded by Cochin Shipyard Ltd CSR (₹40 Lakh).

Continuing to empower communities through BSPS, Taiyari, TI IDU, and Aarogyam Kendra across Rajasthan.
